Not sure what to say?

Wow.. Iwas reminiscing about the church and how I loved the singing there when I was a kid.. I couldn't remember the church name so I looked it up with his last name and Baptist church and found this.. I am saddened to hear of his passing.. My late condolences to his family and church.. you will be missed.. thank you for the fond memories..

I was deeply saddened to hear about Max. I just heard today (1/14/21). I ran into Max several times in Morganton and we talked about playing basketball against each. He was a fine man and had many fine teammates. I often joked about have a bigger Afro than Max. I know he will be truly missed as a husband, father, friend and a minister. I wish I would have known and been able to pay my respects. I´m praying for family, friends and teammates. God bless you all.

Pastor Bristol you're very dear to me and will be missed always till we meet again

To the family. I do know your pain. In absence of a father and the absence of husband, and the absence of a pastor i´ve been there. It will get better. I did not know Pastor Bristol very long, any time Pastor Bristol was around he was always a very nice and humble man. He will be missed I know by many. I´m asking God to give you all peace. Life will be different you can and will make it. Just know this, you all will join him one day. He is in Heaven. It will get better. Continue the work...

May God's grace and mercy sustain you Sis. Doris and we'll as the entire family. Rev. Max was a true Man of God as well as a friend. The last enemy is defeated-Praise God! --1st Thess. 4:14-18. Family be blessed.

He was a great and loving person who will truly be missed

To a good man. Going to miss talking to the man that hired me 27 years ago and I still like my job. Thanks Max you will be missed by a lot of family and friends.
