Oh, my. Another of the great ones has left us. I have the greatest respect for my dear friend and colleague for so many years. He is the epitome of what a Seminary and Institute of Religion teacher/administrator should be. Please know of my love and respect for this dear man. He touched so many lives, including mine.

best wishes,

As a secretary of a local LDS Seminary, we had many occasions to receive counsel, instruction and encouragement from Brother Craner. Then years later we were blessed to again receive guidance from him as our Area Seventy. We are so sorry for your loss. His example was truly one of Christ Like Love.

Brother Craner was a great mentor and leader for us in Seminaries and Institutes. His smile and enthusiasm will always be remembered.

Karen and I so enjoyed Max as our guide as we visited the Holy Land years ago. His "Who has more fun than tourists"? and "All this and the Gospel too" became cheery greetings every morning when we boarded the bus. We loved this man! Ted and Karen Anderson
