Dear Sandy, It was just by chance that I noticed the obit for Max in the Oregonian. My heart goes out to you and your family. I had just mailed a card last week to the two of you, to let you know the sad news that my mother passed away on May 25, 2017. I have been so crushed with grief that I haven't, until now, been able to plan a Celebration of Life for her. The celebration will take place in Los Osos, on October 21st, exactly seven years after my dear father's Celebration of Life....
