I think of Max often! I remember doing repairs in parking lots, on top of buildings and in his driveway! I never had a bad experience with him! He was a good encourager. I miss him.

Max and the Doering family were really pivotal in my early life. Max, Alan, and Marie were the first babysitters that ever came back for a second time. It was always magical when they took us on an adventure. In high school, Max took myself and an exchange student up for a ride in his hot air balloon. Max, I´m gonna miss you and all the funny stories from your weekend best pals Don, Donna and my best pal Philip. We had such great times together at Don´s and Donna´s! Especially when you jumped into the water to save me on the many times I fell in the lake and everyone else was yelling at me to "Swim! swim!", including Phil I may add, and You heroically jumped in and got me back to the boat, dock, etc!!
