I worked for Max at Brobeck from 1985-1991. I learned so much from him. In his practice - family law, estate planning and probate, you often dealt with very volatile and emotional situations. Max was unfailingly kind and sensitive. He always lived by the saying "take the high road." During the years of working for Max, I got to know Juanita and all their children, and went to his 60th birthday party, stayed at his place in Northstar, and also was a guest at a couple of bbq´s on Darrell...

The family lived down the street from us many years ago. He had an exceptional life.

A good man, husband and father. My family often engaged with the Gutierrez family at M D! Way back when...

My thoughts and prayers are with Max and Juanita´s children and family. I have so many beautiful memories of Max and Juanita.
