Not sure what to say?

Dear Jo: I just learned of Max's passing from a friend in Dallas. My sincere and deepest sympathy on your loss. I enjoyed every moment Max and I spent together as we worked to bring the goals and objectives of CSX and AMR together. Max was an inspiration and his unique outlook always generated optimism and a "Can Do" outlook. Max will be missed. Oh yes, you and he were responsible for the only time in my life I drove a car at 150 MPH!

Jo,

My deepest sympathy on your loss. I am very grateful to have worked for and with Max. He was a mentor and friend when I was with American. I treasure my friendship and memories of both you and Max.

Dear Jo,

GREAT memories of a GREAT Guy!!!

He taught us more than some us realized we could understand at that time.
He had great patience with those who were first introduced to his vision and knowledge.

Jo,

Sincere condolences on your loss. I have always had the greatest respect and feelngs of friendship for you and Max since the ill-fated attempt to have the Big Blue Ball hosted in Sabre. But we did have fun in those days. If you wish to talk I am at 845-623-2067 or [email protected]. Again, sincere condolences.

Jo, I also knew Max well professionally. I ask Max to be my mentor while attending my MBA at UTD. He gladly accepted. Max was a true leader in the IT industry and will be missed by all. God's strength and blessings to you and your family.

Jo,
I knew Max quite well, professionly. We met often at the AMA, The Research Board, Chrysler, Gartner, The Infomart, Berkley Networks, and numerous IT conferences. When I got to be the CIO of Rockwell, I tried to do things the way he did. Like so many others, I owed him for thinking about me when opportunities came up.

Lynne and I will both miss him. We will say a prayer for you.
