Not sure what to say?

Loved Max. Still do. The "look"...his smile and eyes twinkling in a fun, caring, and at times mischievous way. It's imprinted in my mind. There to always remember and cherish. Max was and is a special role model and mentor for a life well-lived. Paying it forward to Jim, Laurie, his grandchildren, and future generations of Hudsons. Blessed to know and love Max!

Hi Jim and Family,
Mr. Hudson and I were good friends when I was in high school as he had me in his office regularly. After I graduated we became friends through the sports teams at EHS. It was my pleasure and honor to call him a friend and my wife Kay enjoyed HIM greatly. You can be very proud of him as he was justly proud of you. He was a great person!!!!!!!

Our deepest sympathy to the Max Hudson family. Max was a wonderful person and a great principal of EHS; I've known him for fifty-five years. May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

Ok... did Max leave us with a million great memories or what! We have those to look back on, share, and of course laugh about and enjoy... what a guy... Max
Jim, thank you for sharing him with us... what a wonderful gift!

Mr. Hudson was a great principal(even though he did kick me out of school for a day when I wore a gunny sack dress). He was always fun to be around and made a good role model. He and my Dad(Art Kramer) were great friends and they stayed that way long after my school days and my Dad's retirement.

Someone to be proud of.

Dear Jim, Laurie and family,
You are each in my thoughts and prayers. Cherish your special memories of your father.

With respect,
Karla Schlosser

Max was a good friend and one I admired for honesty, good humor and a kind of innate wisdom. I'll miss our lunch meetings when he shared his kind thoughts.

In the early 70's I worked with Mr Hudson at the ESD (ISD at that time). As a very young woman I was completely awed at how cool he was for an older person. He was a terrific dresser, loved sports, knew how to dance -- while actually touching his partner -- and had a great sense of humor. The thing I remember most about him is his respect and concern for school classified personnel. He helped us establish a local association for educational office personnel and helped organize several...

Jim and Family,
Your Mother and I worked together in VSD, but your Dad had left ESD before I went there. Your Mother and Dad had my wife, Jean and I over to your home for dinner and we always appreciated the hospitality and friendship. I would guess that I worked with your Mother 10 to 12 years at Shumway and Lewis. Your father is remembered for his personal work and support for education in this area. Hugh Shuford
