Not sure what to say?

Dear Sandra.
Word cannot express the sorrow we feel. Max was a wonderful person always so friendly and kind. Our prayers for you and your family.

Dear Sandra and Family,

We feel so privileged to have shared happy and rich times with you and Max over the last few years. His loss leaves a big hole in our lives. Max was a wonderful and exemplary man who had a full, faith-based life.

Cheryl, Kim, and Kristi - I was so saddened to hear of your loss. I had the distinct pleasure of being around Max a few times and I loved his zest for life - and the way he loved the three of you. Wayne and I will keep you and your families in our thoughts and prayers - knowing that God has welcomed Max with open and loving arms! I love you three as if you were my very own sisters and am so blessed for that!

May the Holy Spirit, the Comforter, envelop you in His loving arms and give you the "peace that passes understanding". Our love, Joan &...

Cheryl, Dale and I live in San Angelo. We attend Glen Meadows Baptist Church. We are sorry for your loss. Everybody at church had wonderful comments about your dad. You should be so proud of him and his service ministry.
Sincerely, Martha and Dale Selzer

Cheryl, Kristi & Kim, I celebrate the life of your Dad in my heart and am praying for your family during these days of sorrow. Blessings, Mary Anderwald

My brother and I went through school with Max, starting with the first grade. He was a very nice classmate for 11 years. We doubled grades in the 5th and 6th grades, so we went only 11 years. Sue (powell) and John Henry Powell. Sorry to hear of his death.

I did not know Mr. Hulse personally but have the pleasure of enjoying his painting of Howard Payne University's beloved "Old Main" in my office each day which I believe he gifted to the university in 2003. It is a beautiful painting and evokes so many wonderful memories from other HPU alumni that visit the Advancement offices. May you all be comforted by your many wonderful memories with this great man and know that through his art he has touched and will continue to touch the lives of...
