Not sure what to say?

Jean and family,
Please accept our condolences on the loss of your beloved Max. We were out of town during his passing and his funeral. Had we been here, we would have attended. May the Lord bless you and may you find comfort in knowing he is with his Lord and Saviour. May the memories you have of your long life together bring you peace and a smile.

Sincerely,
Chris and Enedina Zavala

MAX WAS A TRUE FRIEND TO ALL WHO EVER HAD THE PLEASURE TO KNOW HIM. HE HAD A CARING HEART AND A SMILE THAT BRIGHTEN A ROOM. HE WAS A STRONG LEADER IN THE CLASS OF 1950. I HAD THE PRIVELEAGE OF BEING IN SCHOOL WITH MAX DURING OUR HIGH SCHOOL YEARS . WE WILL MISS HIS SWEET SPIRIT. MY BROTHER IN CHRIST. ROSE E.RITCHIE (HARLINGEN,TEX.)

I had the priveledge and honor to know such a man who sang for the Glory of God while at Second Baptist Church in Harlingen, Texas. An awesome voice that will surely be missed but will never be forgotten.

Jean and family,
I knew Max and you Jean back in my teenage years when I went to church with you and babysit your two precious girls. Y'all were such great mentors to me and I always hoped that I would have a home and family like you two did. This all was many years ago as today I would have celebrated my 50th anniversary with my husband who has been waiting for me on the banks of Jordan for a little over 2 years. You can rest in the knowledge that Max will be waiting for you also.I have...

Max was a true friend for the many years that I knew him. It was my benefit to have known him.

We knew Max by stories told by his son, Max. May you find comfort during this time of grief....

WE ARE THERE WITH YOU IN SPIRIT--LOVE ALWAYS WILBURN
AND LAVONDA.

Max will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him. He is surely leading the Heavenly Choir! What a love he had for his Lord, his family, friends and music. He was a blessing to many. We rejoice as we celebrate his Heavenly Home Going! Until we meet agin!

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.
