Not sure what to say?

Our condolences to Eloise and family. Max was a kind man and it was a pleasure doing business with him for all those years. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Like Annette, I spent most of my teenage years listening to the sermons of Max Kell. He was always a godly and inspirational man. He taught me a lot. I will miss him tremendously but I guess it's God's turn to have him now. Max has such a big and lovely family to soldier on for him. God bless you Eloise and family. Hugs!

I was so saddened by the news of Max's passing, but joyful in the knowing that he is with our Lord. Max baptized me when I was 19 years old and I enjoyed his sermons so much in the years that I attended ECBC. I want to send the Kell family my love and prayers. God Bless.

Max was far more than just our pastor. In fact, I'd known Max and his family for most of my life, and that was before he came to El Camino. It was always a treat to visit Eureka where we had many relatives and meet up with the Kells. Max's sister and brother attended Northgate Baptist Church in Seattle where we lived before Sacramento. When Max's family came to Seattle to visit their family, the memories of their kids were always great . Max was called to Eureka to preach. Before they...

Eloise and Family,
Max will be sorely missed. He was such a kind and spiritual man whose sense of humor never left him. He gave such comfort to my parents, Charles and Oleva Winterberger, over the years. Many fond memories were created for both families. Max(and Eloise)were always there for our family in moments of crisis and happy times also. He gave my parents such comfort and strength through the Lord Jesus and my parents received His Love with Max's guidance.

Memories of Max flood our hearts and all of them bring smiles. I recall his enhancing his sermons by breaking into song. He described himself as a "practical" preacher. Thank you, God, that our children were taught by such a Christian man, a man who did not water down Biblical principles nor fear stepping on toes. We will miss you, Max. You felt like family.
"I thank my God upon every remembrance of you." Philippians 1:3

Dearest Kell Family......
May God be with each one of you during this difficult time! Max was a wonderful man! I will always cherish the many times I got to talk to him as he always shared wise words and laughter. I am most grateful for the Bible he gave me many years ago (which really helped me through a difficult time in my life). I am also grateful to know all of you in the Kell family! Each one of you have your own light that you share with others. Max certainly had the light...

Eloise and All,
I am saddened to hear of Max's passing. He was one of the great influences in my life. Even though it's been many years since we have seen Max, I have always wanted to be able to think of my family as he did all of you. While we will miss him for the present time, it's comforting to know he will still be looking down and guiding us from heaven. Best to all. Liz and Bubba Heard (Portland, OR)

Our most sincere condolences to Eloise, the family, friends, and the LEC-S.
