We have many fond memories of Max & Elaine, living in our neighborhood in Burley, Idaho. Max was good friends with our brother, Richard. He was a very kind man & we enjoyed visiting him in later years. Love, Rosie (McBride) Hoggan & Ruth (McBride) Budge

On behalf of mom, dad (Harold and Cleone Weston) and the rest of their family, our love and prayers are with Norma and your family at the passing of your dear husband and father. Mom and dad often speak fondly of of you both. They are very proud of the work you have done and the examples you have been. They regret not being able to attend the viewing or funeral due to some of their own health problems at this time, but wish to send you all their love, as do the other members of our family. ...

To Larry and his family, we want to let you know that you are in our hearts and prayers. Your father was a wonderful man. We can tell that you have followed his example, Larry. We send our love, Elder Kenneth and Sister Margaret Petersen

I have already expressed my feelings and fond memories of Max but didn't mention that we both have the same middle name "Byron" named after grandpa Chase. I haven't done much geneology to keep track of family.

We did not know Max but feel we would have enjoyed knowing him just from reading his obituary. We would like very much to know where we could pull up a copy of his Christmas story.

We do express our sympathy for your loss.

Max really was a kind man. I loved talking with him. I visited him in his home several times. We will really miss him.
