I was sorry to hear about your father's passing. He is kindly remembered as a wonderful caring doctor. I had the pleasure of being one of his employees when he started practice in Milford, NJ. It was one of the most rewarding positions I ever held as a nurse. Your father was a great teacher and excellent physician who was willing to share his knowledge with me. Max was more than our doctor and our friend, He was a role model for any young man wanting to live a Christian life. When Fruits of the Spirit were preached, Max and Mae Skeen always came to mind. We also celebrate his homegoing and with you look forward to our reunion in heaven.

To the family: I offer my sincerest condolences. Dr. Max Skeen was my doctor in the early to mid-sixties when he was in Milford. He saw me through minor illnesses and he was the one who delivered my first child. In that day, it was a high risk pregnancy since there was RH incompatability. It was also a very long labor and I don't know how he managed it with a practice, but he seemed to be at my beside for most of the nineteen or so hours I was in active labor. Both mother and baby did well...

Was sorry to hear of your father's passing but also know he is with the Lord.
Throughout the years I have thought about all of you. My mother, Mildred Pinkerton, always kept in touch with your mom and dad. My mother passed away in 1999 and my father in 2001. Time has flown by but I still remember visiting all of you when you lived in Milford and I remember your dad taking us out in his boat on the Delaware river.

Carl and I will miss Dr. He sat with us during Wed. night supper, and we so enjoyed his stories. God bless all the family.

Sorry to hear of your loss. I only knew him as a child growing up at First Baptist Church of Perrine. He was a very sweet man. Praise the Lord we expect to see him again but for now he's walking on streets of gold and he's with your mom again. Praying for your family in this time of loss.
