Max Van Zoeren

Geoff and Brad, so sorry to hear the passing of your father. Your father was a wonderful, interesting, and Christ centered person. He always had time to talk when our paths crossed throughout his life. My brothers and I had fond memories of playing softball with your dad at East Church. We affectionately called Max the Zeeland Zephyr due to his legendary speed in high school. Our sympathies and prayers are with you and your family.

condolences to Brad and Geoff and families. I first met Max in the early 70's when I went to work for him at Majik Markets, I worked with him part time or full time until the mid 90's. Max was not only my employer, but a close friend.

To the whole Van Zoeren Family you have my deepest sympathy. It was my honor to have known Max. He was always asking how I was doing and I appreciated him asking. It was really hard to watch him deteriorate after Jeanne died but knowing him to be a Christian he is in a great place. He is now with those who passed before him and is now free from cancer, depression and pain. He will be missed. As hard as it is for me to say this. "Go Green" Love to the whole family Jack Beckman
