Not sure what to say?

I still miss my dad every day. I think he blesses us now from heaven. I hope he sees his new lil great grandkids. They would’ve loved him too. We will always tell them about their Daddy Do! “Love it, Love it!” Dad!

Anne, I am so sorry to just now learn of Max's passing. I can't remember Max and the von Roeders ever not being a friend of our family. I enjoyed Max's friendship immensely during the years that we both were one of a rare breed, a cottonseed delinter. I've thought of both of you often and now will miss him, knowing I won't be seeing that big smile and experiencing his always friendly greetings.

Having just lost a dear family member, I understand the pain and loss you're experiencing. Just like my mom, Max displayed the love of Christ through his service to others. I'll miss his big smile and warm, engaging personality that brightened up the spirits of those around him. Thoughts and prayers to the family.

He was president of our high school class at Snyder High School. It was a lifetime job, for he managed all the class reunions after 1950. I am thinking of his family in this time of sorrow.

Max was a great friend and supporter of Butman Methodist Camp & Retreat Center. He will be missed and remembered sweetly.

I have known Max, my second cousin, for many years. We have visited at the Ohlendorf reunions at Staples on the San Marcos River and the Sack Reunions in New Braunfels. I have visited with Max and Anne at their home in Snyder. It is always very difficult to say goodbye to any of those we have known and loved, yet we will all meet again at some future time. God bless all of Max's loved ones who will miss him mightily.

Max was a man of integrity, kindness and thoughtfulness. Everyone who knew Max relates to him this way. Max was such a fine person!

My thoughts and prayers are with his family! Cade Walton
