Max Wyeth

Max Edward Wyeth, 80, passed away on Thursday, August 7, 2025, at his home in Roachdale, Indiana, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on May 21, 1945, in Lebanon, Indiana; a son of the late, Harry G. and B. Irene (Johnson) Wyeth.

On November 30, 1968, he was united in marriage to Donna (Statham) Wyeth in Lake Worth, Texas; she survives

Max served his country honorably from 1963–1967 in the Unites States Air Force. Following his service, Max returned home to farm. In addition, he worked as a Business Communications Installer for RCA for many years.

Having loved to travel, Max visited every state with the exception of two, Alaska and Hawaii. He was an avid reader and enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and camping. Max was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who loved his family dearly.

He leaves behind his beloved wife of 56 years, Donna Wyeth; daughter, Jennifer (Ben) Clark; son, Jeff (Kasey) Wyeth; five grandchildren; Macy (Chase) Poynter, Keirsten Clark, Corbin Clark, Elaina (Jake) Davis, and Eli Wyeth; one great grandchild on the way; brother, Mark Wyeth; and two sisters, Janet (Steve) Ross and Carol (Mike) Ross.              

In addition to his parents, Max was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Jane Wyeth. 

A celebration of life will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at his daughters home, 4997 E. State Road 240, Greencastle, Indiana 46135. Porter and Hunt Funeral Home & Crematory of North Salem has been entrusted with his cremation arrangements.
