My condolences. Wow!!

I am very lucky to have had Maxie as a chapter in my life. He was my coach for 3 years at Cornell. "The most important play is the next play".

I played for Coach Baughan at Cornell (`87) and my time with him helped shape me into the man I am today. God bless. Sending love & kindness to Coach Baughan´s family. His whistle, pipe & inspiration will always be remembered. RIP Coach.

Maxine was my childhood hero. He grew up across the street from my grandmother in Jonesboro part of Bessemer Alabama. I was eight years old when Maxine was playing at Georgia Tech. He gave me a child´s size Georgia Tech letter sweater. Maxine is the reason I went into coaching. RIP Maxie. Praying for Dianne and the boys

Rest in Peace my friend. I fondly remember sharing coffee and donuts with you in Long Beach, during your time with the Rams. Taking the time to meet with fans and discuss football is something missing from today´s game. I hope you enjoyed your retirement and I can´t believe you are not enshrined in Canton.
