Maxie Mae Lorenz

Maxie was an extra special lady who was loved by so many. We will miss her but are happy that she is finally with Don and all of the other exceptional saints from Wesley Church. Don and Maxie left a legacy of memories cherished, values modeled, friendships treasured, hospitality appreciated, a church solidly planted, generosity extended, marriage admired, influence for Christ widespread, family honored, and lives well lived. We were blessed to be their friends.

I am so saddened to hear that Maxie has passed away. She was like a second mom to me and my inspiration for all that is good and kind. I remember she was always smiling and I loved her cooking.
She is happy once again because she is now by your Dad's side. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her and loved her.
You are all in my heart, thoughts and prayers.

My dearest sister, you will be in my heart forever. I still have the gold locket you gave me when I was 6 years old.
