ALWAYS REMEMBERING MAX, AND THAT OLD MODEL A FORD CAR THAT HE HAD IN HIGH SCHOOL IN BERNARDSVILLE, IS A HAPPY THOUGHT

I came suddenly and late to the news of Max Spann's passing. I am taken aback by the loss of this great contributor to his family and community. Max left a legacy of supporting others in need, especially those, such as people with disabilities, who had a difficult time helping themselves. He was a motivator to others, challenging them to rise up and use their gifts to better themselves, family and community.
As a businessman, advocate and leader, Max Spann was a crucial addition to...

To the Spann Family, I am sorry to read of Max's passing. I knew Max in the 50's when he was at his farm. What a kind gentleman liked and admired by all.

Sincerely,
Mary Ann Dalton

I recently learned of Max's passing.I am so sorry for you loss.I feel very blessed having been your neighbor for so many years. As you know I loved walking down you lane in all seasons, enjoying your remarkable property and hoping you,Max or the kids would come by.I feel very fortunate to have been exposed to such a wonderful man as Max and his great family. He was always interesting to talk to ,and there was always something going on with you folks and the farm.I know you will all miss him...

To the Spann family I offer my condolences.

I met Max at the Town Diner in Clinton. (The Red Door Diner). We would meet most Fridays for years in the morning.

We did solve many of the worlds problems. We agreed on most topics and when we didn't he did respect my point of view and I his.

His insight will be missed by all who him.

Condolences to family and friends. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, but love leaves memories no one can steal.

Max will be sorely missed on this side of the Atlantic. He and the Spann family have featured strongly in the story of the Jersey cow as importers of Island cattle for more than a century. My condolences to Jean and all the Spann family. Max was a fine man and it was good to know him.
