Not sure what to say?

Dear Susan and Family,

I was so fortunate to meet Max and Susan around 2001. I met them at the Portland Oregon Antique Expo, through our collecting interests.

Susan called one day to ask if I would be interested in editing the newsletter of the club we belonged to. I hesitated, but Susan and Max assured me that they would give me all of their support.

During this time I had a major set back in my health. Susan would help me along with advise, I'd take it...

Dear Sue,
I remember when you and Max started dating while we were in nursing school. He was such an intelligent and kind man. With all his accomplishments in life, he remained humble and treated everyone with such dignity. What a close relationship you two had and you and your children will miss him. I'm so glad that we all got to spend some time together on the Alaskan cruise. He definitely was a man among men. All my love, prayers and sympathy.

Dear Sue,
How saddened I am to hear of Max's passing. You and Max inspired others with your love for one another. You were definitely Max's sunshine and he yours! Thinking back to our student days when you first met Max, I can still remember the twinkle in your eyes, the excitement in your voice and the transformation in your demeanor. Max will always be remembered by me for his kindness, his total affection and love for his wife and family and his quiet strength.
You will remain...

Dear Sue. Thinking back to when the two of you met....I was there; when you graduated from nursing school...I was there...Ann, you and I lived together...you and Max dated...and then you married...I was there...we have remained close over the past 46 or more years...so far apart, but still so close...you have lost your dear husband, and I have lost a dear friend. How fortunate you have been to have had a loving and caring husband, and for your children to have had a father who was so proud...

Dearest Sue,
Your Max was one of a kind and certainly was a true gentleman. He was a kind man with a gentle soft voice that I loved to hear when I called. I was proud to have known him for the past 47 years.
Please know that your friends and myself have much support and love for you as I know your family & local friends do also.
We love you and our bond is lifetime!
Love from Judy

Dear Sue,Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this sad time. I remember a handsome young physician, warm and caring and very much in love with a friend of mine. How blessed you both were, to have known such an enduring love. You will miss him very much. Fondly, Mary and Jack McCluskey

Max was exactly the definition of a "gentleman". I never heard him utter an unkind word and I loved talking with him, hearing his soft voice.

I'm proud to have had the honor of introducing Max to Sue in Pittsburgh at Mercy. This was a couple in love & forever a true love success story.

Judy

Dear Susan,

We heard the sad news from Tam. This must be very difficult for you and the family. Max was such a wonderful person and the two of you have had such a great life together. I think of you often and miss seeing you. Glenn and I send thoughts of love and strength to you and your family in this time of grief.

Love,

Dear Susan--
We were so saddened to hear of Max's passing. Our contacts with you and Max were in the antiques world where the best acquaintance customers often cross the line into business friends.

We have such fond memories over the years of you and Max coming through the antiques shows and into our shop. Max's grin and your rather shy smile always signaled your arrival. The conversations which followed always left us with a smile which lasted the rest of the day.

You and...
