Not sure what to say?

A kind heart, gentle soul, and loving friend has gone to the universe. Her energy can only spread joy. We feel such sorrow for our loss yet happiness for all she gave to so many. We met as Freshmen at the University of Miami and although she needed to get to the trees of New Hampshire and transferred out, our friendship endured. But that was Max. She was magical. She has been in my daily thoughts and prayers for over 50 years. She was my Maid of Honor. I was there when she married her...

"We shared a beautiful meal looking out onto Pleasant Lake. We toasted Maxine for putting this incredible evening together. I raised my glass and said, “Thank you for giving back to all of us a little slice of our childhoods.” My bunkmates stood with hands on hearts and gave the old Kear Sarge cheer: “Dear Maxine Booth, our hearts to you, our hands to you. Dear Maxine Booth, our hearts and hands to you.” Thankfully, we had the dining room at the inn to ourselves as we broke into song after...

You will be missed, thankful that we met at the Forest service, and became good friends. Thank you for all the work that you did at the forest service, Educating the public and planning trips for so many, and so much more. Thankful that we met on this journey... Farewell our good friend. Peace always...

she was my camp counsellor at camp kearsarge- and we have been friends for 50 years- she will be sorely missed

RIP Maxine. So sorry to hear of your passing.

Thank you for sharing. Maxine was a very bright woman who felt love from her parents especially, and her dear friends and associates. She was very giving of herself to the Mountain Top Music community. It’s nice to see her beautiful smile again. ❤
