Maxine H. Cappel

I still think of Maxine often. Being neighbors out in the countryside. We enjoyed tea together and just sitting and chatting. I miss her friendship. God Bless & RIP

Maxine lived next door to Dale and I out in the countryside. She would call me occasionally to come sit and have a cup of tea with her. We'd sit at her dining room table and we'd talk about all the dolls she had in her collection. I would admire the beautiful painting she did on many plates on display. She had her own kiln in her kitchen and ended up having two of them and just had to show them to me one day. She was very proud of her accomplishments, as was I.

I think of Maxine so often. She was my neighbor out in the country. We'd have tea together and talk about her ability to make & paint her beautiful plates. We'd also talk about all her many dolls. She said at one time, after she lost count, there were more than 600. She probably added more after I moved. We enjoyed each others company. She is sadly missed by me. ALWAYS, DONNA JENSEN

Maxine was one of my mother's (Marian Ackerman) favorite friends. I can still hear my mother laughing as she visited with Maxine on the phone! They enjoyed each other's company. Kay ackerman
