My heart is full of sadness over the loss of my best friend, my mentor, my champion, and my idol. Maxine was my role model for all my life. I actually emulated dressing like her and acting like her. When I was down, she is the one who lifted me up, she is literally the one who kept me going forward in my life. She is the youngest sister to my mom, who left us in 2008. And there was the third sister, Gwen, and their brother Delver. I loved this family so hard it hurts! Their parents, my grandparents were my first loves in life! I hated that my parents took us to Texas and the family that I adored was back in Pennsylvania. Now, they are all gone. My heart feels so alone. I know God, my husband, children and family will sustain me until it is my turn to join the clan McGinnis in heaven, but it sure is lonely here without them! Wayne, I feel so bad for you. I know you have lost your heart and your right arm. She loved you to distraction. Your marriage was a most perfect example to all married couples. If everyone loved as you two did, there would never be another divorce on this earth! I wish there was something I could do to ease your heartache, but I know there isn't. So just know that I cry with you.

Oh I am so sorry Wayne. I just thought Max was one of the sweetest, kindest people around. We worked together at Baxter & Swinford Realtors back in the 80's.
She had a calling to go back to teaching in the inner city. Last time I saw you and Max was maybe a couple years ago when I helped you two with your rental home. She was well liked by everyone that knew her.
She will be missed, but God took her as an angel.
Call me anytime you need to talk..

I love the picture of Max in red; all she needs is a purple hat. Dave would sing, "Maxine, you don't have to put on that red dress, Baby.." based on the song "Roxanne" by Police. She always brought a smile to my face and my heart. My heart aches just knowing Max isn't on this earth anymore. The memories Dave and I share with you and Max are some of the most precious in my life. You, too, Wayne are in my heart. May God bless Maxine!

Wayne, May God bless you and your family at this time of sorrow! I am so glad we got to spend a little time together, the time you and Maxine came to visit us in Menifee, Ca. at the campground. Remember the time when we were in Lake Conroe and you and Maxine and Betty and Neal came to visit us at that campground? I remember the times when we visited you at your home. So glad we made those trips to see you! May God comfort you at this time!
