MAXINE L. GORE

1918 - 2014

Maxine L. Gore, 96, passed away March 21, 2014, at Riverside Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Visitation will be held 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, March 28, at White Chapel Funeral Home, with memorial service to follow at 11 a.m. Private burial at the Blue Springs, Mo., Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the American Diabetes Association, 6900 College Blvd., #250, Leawood, KS 66211 or to PEO Executive Office (MO-JK), 3700 Grand Ave., Des Moines, IA 50312. Maxine was born Jan. 14, 1918, in Kansas City, Kan., the daughter of Ira Price and Lena (Petzold) Price. She married William J. Gore of Blue Springs. She was a member of the Northgate Baptist Church. Maxine was a founding member of Missouri Chapter JK PEO and Old Pike Country Club, both in 1957. Maxine was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and siblings, Vernon Price, Eunice Barnhart, Glen Price and Ruth Price. She has three surviving children, William Gary Gore (Lori), Heber Springs, Ark., Dr. Richard Gore (Barb), Liberty, Mo., and Randy (Debbie) Gore, Gallatin, Mo.; 13 grandchildren and 21 great- grandchildren as well as seven nieces and nephews.
