Maxine Greene

I just learned of Maxine´s passing today. I knew her from traveling and working in some of the same circles. One of my most cherished and impactful memories, was because of Maxine. We were working to complete a large federal grant for our place of employment. We had worked on it for a few weeks and made numerous revisions to get it just right. We were conducting a final review. We had to finish packaging it and mail it to meet the deadline. I saw another sentence that I wanted to rewrite....

Soror Maxine was a cherished and beloved Golden Girl! She lived a life full of grace, excellence, peace, and kindness. My heartfelt sympathy to the family, Sorors and friends. I will continue to keep the family in near thoughts and prayers in the days and weeks ahead.
