Joan was a very special person. I´m so thankful I was able to visit her and all of you in February and I had one-on-one time with her in Iowa. I´ll always be glad she invited us down to experience Alabama and Gulf Shores when we were teenagers, and that she and Al came to my wedding. I appreciate her faith and her prayers for me and my family and my dad. She and all of you are in our thoughts and our prayers. What a beautiful Southern Lady with Iowa roots, I´m blessed to have known her.
