Maxine was sister of my friend Jeannie and I remember her from Grass Lake. When I was writing for the Grass Lake news, she told me about getting married and with rationing during the war, people donated sugar for their wedding cake. She was always smiling, happy and interesting to visit with. May wonderful memories give you comfort.
