Not sure what to say?

To Stanley and family, We always enjoyed spending time with Maxine. She was a delight to be around, so gracious and funny. We will miss her. Our hearts go out to you at this time of great sadness. We will be praying for you.

To Maxine's family: Maxine loved you all so much and I know you will really miss her. I met Maxine when I first started to work for Billy and she always was so sweet and kind to me. She made me feel like I was one of the family. It was a priviledge to know Maxine and she will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Stanley, Lise, Billy, and Celia,
We were just sitting around the table at Rosh Hashannah lunch and Aunt Honey Banks was reading us the beautiful words written about Maxine's beautiful life. Even though we haven't seen her in years (With the exception of Aunt Honey)we all have fond memories of her,she always had a smile on her face to go with a huge nishuma. Lise, I know how much you treasured each day with her once you returned to Birmingham. Our hearts and prayers are with you at this sad...

When I met Maxine Lapidus, I understood where Billy received his caring spirit and humorous personality from. Maxine was always so kind and thoughful whenever she blessed us with her presence or phone call. I am so glad that I had an opportunity to get to know her. I know all of you will miss her very much, but know that she was the best mom and the best wife and the best of all she could be to us all. Julie

I am so sorry for your loss. Maxine was always so kind whe she called the office(Billy's). No matter what she always had time to find out how I was doing. She called me at home when she found out that my mother was ill and told me if I needed anything to call her and I know she really meant what she said. She was a very caring and generous person. I am going to miss her. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Sharon

For Lise, Dan & Josh, Cheryl told us about your loss. I know how close you were to your mother. But I also know you all have good support during this sad time. Please accept our sincere condolences. I know you will have forever, many happy memories.

To Stanley and Family,
Our thoughts are with you on the loss of Maxine. She was a loving and gracious person.

Aunt Maxine:

You were a very special person who touched so many. You will be missed.

Uncle Stanley, Bill, Lese and Ceila:

I wish you comfort in this very difficult time.

I am so saddened by the loss of a lady that was truly inspiring to me! I only hope that her family can find some solace in the fact that she could not have lived a fuller and more rewarding life.....She certainly enriched mine!
