Not sure what to say?

My name is Judy "Grimmett" Krajcovic, Maxine was my second cousin, but in our family all cousins are close even third and fourth, so to me Mac, was alot closer, I am the oldest grandchild of Archie and Willie Derden,so to me she felt more like my first cousin,She and my Aunts, Bonnie and Lois were really close, espically Bonnie, they would take me places with them like riding around on Beaton and let me just be around them, I am sure I was a pest but they never made me feel like that. We all...

My name is Misty Gunn Gray. I am Bonnie Derden Vineyard's youngest daughter. Maxine came to our home for a visit on New Year's eve 1998-1999. I had always spoken to her on the phone, but it had been awhile sinse I had actually seen her. I thought what a "classy" lady. She was so interesting to talk to. I know how much my mother loved this woman. She brought all of her family pictures of her sons and beautiful grandchildren. She was so proud of them. That was all she talked about. When she...

I always thought of Maxine as my aunt, since she and my mother, Bonnie Derden-(Gunn)- Vineyard her first cousin, were so very close. Not geographically, but in age and a bond so strong no one could ever break. They were always more like sisters. I loved hearing the little stories she and mom would tell me about their days as young girls. I could listen to them over and over in that beautiful, sweet, little southern drawl of hers. I know my mother will miss their 2-3 hr. phone calls they both...

Maxine is my first cousin. Our dads were brothers. We were more like sisters than cousins. We went through school together, and had so much fun in High School. She was my best friend and confidant. We have spent hours on the phone, laughing and sharing our memories of happy times. I will miss her, and she will live on in the memories of my heart forever. Goodbye to a very special person. Love from Bonnie Elizabeth.

Aunt Maxine was the glamour in the lives of my sister, Sally, and me as we were growing up, and we always looked forward to being with Aunt Maxine, Uncle Wade, and our only first cousins, Wade, Jr., Kimberly, and Mark.
We are very sorry to learn of her passing.
With deepest sympathy,
Sally Gilbreath and Sandy Nicolas
