Maxine was a true character, and you could always have fun with her. She brought such enthusiasm and humor to life. May she rest in peace. I was grateful to serve as her chaplain at Breton Ridge - Holland Home, for 7 years.

My condolences to Richard and the rest of the family. I had the absolute pleasure of working for the Max and Dick when I listed their house on the Thornapple River. The obituary says it right...she left an amazing impression on my heart. What a beautiful life well lived.

To know Max was to love her! She was a true character that could always make you laugh. I was privileged to know her for the last few years of her life and can only imagine what she was like when she was younger! Feisty comes to mind! My sincere condolences to Dick, Anita and family. She will be missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
