Maxine D. (Seavey) Sepanek
1923 - 2015
AGAWAM, Mass. - Maxine D. "Mickey" (Seavey) Sepanek, 92, of 110 Edgewater Road, Agawam, Mass., died on Sept. 4, 2015, in Augusta. She was born in Wiscasset, on Feb. 14, 1923, daughter of the late Perley and Estelle Seavey and lived in Agawam since 1957. Maxine belonged to the Agawam Senior Center and enjoyed golfing. Mickey worked 28 years for Combustion Engineering as Chief Telephone Operator, retiring in 1982.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Donald Roderick, who died in World War II, by her husband Joseph M. Sepanek in 1981; and a sister Frances E. Caston of Augusta. She leaves a brother Douglas Seavey, 96, of Farmingdale; one niece and four nephews.
Mickey will be sadly missed by many family members, neighbors and special friends.
There will be a graveside service at the Massachusetts Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, Agawam, Mass., on Monday, Sept. 14, 2015, at 10 a.m. There will be no funeral or calling hours. Local arrangements are under the care of Staples Funeral Home, 53 Brunswick Ave., Gardiner.
