Maxine Hartline Slater, formerly of Farmington, passed away Saturday, December 7th at the Avon Health Center. She was the beloved wife of Andrew (Pete) E. Slater, Jr., for 60 years. They had met at a dance at the Bond Hotel the night before he was shipped out to the Pacific during World War II....
