I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

I'll miss being able to visit with Maxine by phone and hearing her laugh. She'll always be in my heart.

What an incredible woman so full of love, kindness, integrity and humor. I feel honored to have known her and to have loved her. She will be missed.

Maxine was my mother-in-law of 32 years. A wonderful strong woman, mother, and wife who raised three incredible children. I loved her as if she was my own mother and was so very proud to be her son-in-law. She accepted me into her family and because of the way she raised her daughter, I will always be able to see Maxine in my wife.
