Not sure what to say?

She and Stan were among my dearest friends. My life would be very different without them. They were beacons of goodness. Madeline Artenberg

I met Maxine when I was 17 and started dating her son Billy. I was lucky to join the family in 1991. She was a wonderful mother-in-law and Grammy and we shared so many happy times together as the family grew. I will always be grateful for being part of the Willner family and all the wonderful times we had together.

My condolences to the family. Maxine was always so kind and helpful, we attended exercise classes together for over 10yrs. Stan was equally kind and helpful. She's with her husband now. May God bless the family with peace and love and may they both rest in peace.

We were very close friends in high school, college and beyond. She and Stan were two of the kindest, sweetest people. They continued sending birthday and holiday cards all these years. Happy they had a wonderful life, but too, too short. I was very proud of their accomplishments. --Madeline A.

Maxine will be missed by the many ladies that played Bunco with her. We will miss her! Condolences to the family. Rachel Lane-Behroozfard

Maxine was a kind, sweet woman. She and her husband Stan, were frequent customers at Panera in Wilmington, NC.. Maxine always had a smile on her face, and was a joy to see her walk through the door. She loved her family, especially her grandkids, as she shared many photos of them with me. I know she fought the good fight and will be missed to all of us at Panera Mayfaire. She is now with her beloved husband, Stan. My love goes out to her family at this time.

I will always cherish our wonderful family memories.
Love, Phyllis
