I am Barbara's husband, Rick (AKA "the Monster")...I did not know Maxine well, but I always thought she was a kind and generous person. She always seemed to be ready to help her family, when her help was needed. Goodbye, Maxine...I will see if I can find post the picture of her with Justin Verlander (Detroit Tiger's x-pitcher)...she really like that picture.

Sorry for your loss. My dad, Chester, worked with Don. I see in the obit, Maxine worked at the Secretary of State office. She must have been the one who got Dad the plate numbers he wanted. We always sent them Christmas cards. After Don died we kept sending to Maxine. After Dad died in 2013, I kept sending. She always sent one too. She seemed very nice.
