I first met Maxwell over 20 years ago and almost 10 years ago I came to work at Maxwell Shoe. Little did I know what an impression he would make on me. I had the opportunity to work with him and Betty and Margie and would listen to their stories and realized what a unique family they were and what a unique company this was. I am so sorry of Mr. Blum's passing and send my sincerest sympathy to his family, extended family and friends. While I have not met Mr. Blum in person, I have the privilege of working at Partners Healthcare and the Brigham and Women's Hospital, and being treated by their superb physicians and staff.
