Mr. & Mrs. Dey. I was so, so shocked!! I am so sorry for your loss. I really hate that I missed his service also. Randy used to bring us pickles that you would make. They were delicious. I am going to call you two soon.

Randy 's memorial service was very fitting for a fine man. Randy touched more people then he ever knew but knowing Randy, he would make some comment (with his dry sense of humor) that he had nothing to do with it! RIP friend.

My heart and prayers go to Randy's family, who loved so much. WE worked together undercover on a motorcycle gang case and lifted for the same power lifting team for years. Was a good friend whom I trusted my life with while undercover. I was blessed to know him and have him as a friend. A great law enforcement with the highest morals.

I was shocked and heart broken to hear this news. I have known Randy for thirty years. Your short time with us touched many people along the way. I still am processing all of this. Mr and Mrs Dey and family, my heart, thoughts and prayers are with you . May you rest in peace Randy. Max and Wendell are with you now

Major Dey will be missed by many at the Hardee County Sheriff'S Office.
As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

Randy was a positive influence on many people in his life and I was fortunate to be one of them. It saddens me that I am unable to be there today to say farewell to an amazing man and even better law enforcement officer. Thank you Randy for your friendship and your service to the public safety community.

I worked with Randy for many years at FDLE and early on in talking together learned that we were both Eagle Scouts. We would compare our adventures together and Randy would tease me that he went further in scouting than I did, earning a couple extra "palms" to go with the Eagle award. That was Randy. Would always go the extra in whatever he did. He was a true professional and friend. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and many friends that will miss him deeply. Rest in Pease my...
