Dear Paula,

I just heard about Max's passing. I am so very sorry. Max was such an extra special person and loved by so many.

I extend my condolences to you and your dear family,

Love,
Susan Rosenberg Pedrin

Dear Paula & Family;
I just heard today about Max's passing. I will always remember his amazing smile and kindness. He was a true friend and I had the wonderful opportunity to attend both J.B. Jr. High and Fairfax High School with him. There is a photo of him on my wall from a past High School reunion and I was fortunate to sit at the dinner dinner with him at our 50 year high school reunion last June. I was out of town on November 1 for the service, but please know that my thoughts...

Dear Paula, Jill, Amy and family:

After the services Sunday, we watched the sun set over the ocean. What a beautiful sight. At first we were sad, thinking of Max. We recognized, though, that the sun comes up everyday, and things will be brighter the next day.

Max is always with us, everyone of us, even though some of us may not have seen or talked with him for lengthily periods of time. When, early on, you get to love someone, that never...

Dear Paula, Amy and Jill,
It was an honor to be at the tribue
to Max.
A beautiful service.....for a wonderful man.......
We all went away feeling like we knew
Max better.
We laughed and we cried.....and felt
greatful that we knew such a man.
We wish you all good memories, and
peace and love.........
Janis and Hal

There was so much love for Max today at his service. I knew Max when I was a kid, in grammar school, Hebrew school, and high school. He was a special soul and I will always remember him. It was wonderful to hear from his family and friends about his love for sports and his generosity.

Paula, Amy, Jill and to all his close friends,

Please accept my deepest sympathies. I will be with Matthew down here and unable to attend services today.

I don't know if you ever knew this but I knew Max (not personally but professionally) before I met Steffanie. I discovered his store driving down Venture Blvd one day, I worked five minutes away and stopped in to check it out.

I felt like I was in Baseball Card heaven! Eventually I sold some of my old cards...

Paula, Amy, and Jill,
I feel very fortune that I got to see Max at my brother Rob's, wedding last October. Rob was very fond of Max. Max was always so friendly and easygoing. I remember visiting him with my brother at his store on Ventura Blvd. back when Amy and I were in high school. I also remember he always had a smile on his face when I came over to your house back then too. I know what you are going through. His memories will live in you and through you. You guys are in my thoughts...
