I met Dr Martus in 1969. I was a college student at Northeastern University at the time. Kind of a broke college student. I had a wire fox terrier named Alfie. Dr Martus really took to Alfie and always gave me more than reasonable charges when something was wrong with the dog. Alfie, being a terrier was wild, in a great way. Dr Martus seemed to appreciate that. One day out in the yard, Alfie cut his let kind of bad. I called the Doctor and he said to bring him to the office...
