Not sure what to say?

Many memories of May & Ernie Bako from the Card Playing evenings in their home to the work-sessions serving the Lumen Christi Band activities. May was a vibrant, driving force in serving the community and her God. God bless her. Dean McManus

I feel so privileged to have known May throughout my life. The phrase "Surely the presence of the Lord is in this place" seemed to permeate the rooms she was in. This world is lucky to have her so long. Prayers to all who will miss her.

Dear Bako family- I am so sorry for your lost. She was a very special person who was sweet, compassionated, funny, and tough. Please accept my condolences and peace to you all. Dan Baughman

May was one of a kind. She embraced every child and adult as if they were her own. In a crowd she was first person you would seek out. Our family appreciates the guidance and wisdom she shared with us. The Bako and extended family were blessed to have her for such a wonderful life. God bless. John, Amy, Jack and her favorite Tony Clark

I golfed with your mom years ago. She was such a joy! I'm so sorry for your loss. God's blessing to you all. Vicki Topa

May's contributions to the world of people with physical and cognitive challenges helped form the very structure of services offered today. She and Ernie were pioneers of the behavioral health system, giving of themselves for over 40 years. It was my honor to be a part of May's vision. She will be missed. Our sincere condolences to the Bako family.

Sherry was in my first class as a special education teacher and what a delight she was. May was always so supportive, kind and fun! The pool party at the Bako´s was always a school year highlight. She will be missed. Our condolences to the...
