Even though she was only an occasional visitor to our home in Colorado she was always my favorite. My dad loved her. I never saw him smile the way he smiled when she was around. And her smile was world class. Her laugh and wit filled our home with a great lightness that was sorely missed when she was gone. I will so very much miss her visits and I am so sad for the people like my father who loved her so deeply.

Dear family, As we all referred to her as Nana I just wanted to say that my heart is breaking with her passing. I still pick up the phone expecting to make my daily call to "check-in". Forever in my heart and memories, but there are no right words to express this loss. Nana represented the old way of living, from her homemade noodles to her quilting and to her enjoyment from family. I learned alot from her and will carry that over in things/traditions that I will teach Taylor. May you...
