May Lee Smith

May Lee Smith, 91, of Perryton, Texas died Thursday, October 26, 2017 in Spearman, Texas. Services will be held Monday, October 30, 2017 at 10:30 A.M. at First Baptist Church in Perryton, with Rev. Richard Laverty officiating. Burial will be in Ochiltree Cemetery, and arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Perryton, Texas.

Mrs. Smith was born on July 18, 1926 in Spearman, Hansford County, Texas to T.I. Harbour and Ollie Harmond Harbour. She was a lifetime resident of the Panhandle area, and she was involved in the family farming operation for many years. She married her husband, Leroy Smith, on December 18, 1942, and she was a member of First Baptist Church of Perryton, Texas.

Mrs. Smith is survived by one son, Larry Don Smith of Perryton, Texas; seven grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; and one great great-grandchild.

Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son, Gary Leroy Smith; and one daughter, Connie Smith Weis.
