Not sure what to say?

May Walker was the grand old lady of Macon, Ga.
She contributed so much in her life to The Girl Scouts, to education, and many more commendable activities in the city.
She retained the spunk of a teenager well into late life.
I remember her visit to my farm as an octogenarian. She wanted to see and ask about everything and it had to be a walking tour. She was always in the lead and her enthusiasm was contagious to others in the group. She could identify every plant and tree we...

May was full of life until the very end. She is to be admired for her fortitude, love of life and God.

We are glad to have had the chance to send you a birthday card. Our Brownies looked up to her. How fitting to hear this news right after a Brownie investiture ceremony. Thank you Ms. May for all of you gifts. Rest in peace. May peace be with those who will miss her on this earth. Brownie Troop 3611, Hamilton MT

I was honored to send May Walker a birthday card last fall. I know she will be an angel "in green" not white, looking down upon all the Girl Scout daughters, grand-daughters and great-grand-daughters that she influnced with her love and dedication to the movement. My thoughts are with you all at this time. From an Indiana Girl Scout Volunteer for 42+ years
