Read MoreWhat a dear, sweet, and elegant lady Aunt Maye was. I have such fond memories of visiting with her at the Methodist Home in Orangeburg while she was there. I guess that's the last visit I had with her, actually. It was only a few weeks after my mother died. I will not be able to attend the funeral, but please know that you all are in my prayers.

John, Martha, and Anna please know that my thoughts and prayers are with all of you. The loss of my mother was the hardest thing I have ever faced in my life. It is so wonderful to know that a lady as fine as your mother lived so long!
