Not sure what to say?

Mrs. Workman, Rusty, Pam & Pat,

My and my family's deepest condolences on the loss of your father. He was always Coach Workman to me and a great man. I know when I was a senior at Arlington High School and our baseball team went to the state playoffs through the regional round, it was Coach Workman who supported us completely. He taught a lot of young athletes in Arlington how to play any sport with pride and humility. He also looked out for us when we might not be doing...

Mrs. Workman, Rusty and Pam, and the rest of the family,

I'm so sorry to hear of Coach Workman's passing. What a great man. His love of God and children made a wonderful combination. He helped so many people. I so appreciate everything he did for our family and for the whole community.

Jackie, Rodger and I are praying for you. God will watch over you and care for you at this time. Pam, you know how to get in touch with me if you need anything, even just to talk...

Your husband, father, grandparent, holds a special place in my heart as Mayfield was a great gift to the Arlington Independent School District. The mold is broken for such greatness. God's healing grace is wating to comfort all of the broken hearted in this loss.

Please accept my most sincere condolences on Coach's passing. Growing up in Arlington was a wonderful experience because of people like Coach and Sterling. I know that he and my father, Wayne Wade, are now once again enjoying some good laughs and stories. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. God bless you!

To the Workman Family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time-

To the Workman Family,

We send our heartfelt sympathies regarding the loss of your family patriarch, Mayfield Workman.

As the daughter of Omar and Geneva Keeton, I fondly remember Mayfield and Sterling Workman and listening to entertaining stories and lots of laughs. The Keetons and the Workmans were friends and lifelong citizens of Arlington. Sterling, you were my Cheerleading coach and P.E. teacher while I attended Ousley Jr. High, during the mid-60’s. Both of you...

To the Workman family:

Our heartfelt condolences to everyone.

Best regards,
Dick/Anita Sheffield

Mr Workman was a major factor in my life. Not only did help me get a full collage scholarship, he help me and countless young people to grow into responsible adults. I can be proud to say, I was one of many people that benefited from Mr Workman and Mrs Workman and the rest of his family into making our lifes having meaning and fulfillment.

Sterling, It is hard to believe that you and Mayfield have enjoyed 67 years of Married life. What a wonderful testomony to the two of you. Joe and I realize you two were two of the fisrt people we met when we came to Arlington. AISD has been good to all of us. Thinking of you at this very sad time. Pat Harry
