My sympathy's go out to the family. What a legend! I'm just one of the many thousands of locals who were lucky enough to have found The Woolgrowers. I can't tell you how many times I've had meals there. Hundreds, literally hundreds. There was no place like it and anyone I knew who lived in Bakersfield knew how to get to The Woolgrowers. When I was in the Navy, I'd bring buddies from Chicago, Florida, all over the USA and we'd have at least one meal at The Woolgrowers. The other nights...
