Not sure what to say?

Maybe Kulper was my aunt on my daddy's side. She was very strict (which i was not used to) Very kind and loving. She is missed by all who knew and loved her.

My children were some of many who had the privilege of attending her classes at Closter Park.Later I was blessed to have her as my boss and mentor when I taught preschool at Central Park. She taught me so much and the children loved her.I am sure she is now in Heaven surrounded by a group of cherubs all sitting on their "tail feathers"while she entertains them with stories, songs, and fingerplays. She will be remembered and missed by many .

Condolences to Jerry, her son and family. Ms.Kulper was a nice lady and shared her enthusiasm of love for her family.

I had the opportunity to interview Mayme on several occasions regarding many of the activities she was involved in.

She was always a great person to interview for the newspaper: never shy, and very accommodating.

She'll be missed .

Mayme and I met the night we were initiated into Rainbow Girls. I think that was in 1949. We stayed in touch and I kept aware of the children's lives through the wonderful annual Christmas letters Mayme sent. We did have one visit here in Oregon. God Bless you, Mayme. I know Lou is waiting with your chair dusted, your wings well feathered and that your stars are the most brilliant. With love, Bobbie (Barbara) Bullard

I have wonderfully fond memories of Mrs. Kulper and all the time we spent at Closter Park as children from 1969 thru high school. and her Daughter Helen who was always so nice, Many 2 square and carrom tournaments....my condolences to the Kulper family..

My condolences to the Kulper family. Mayme was absolutely an asset to the community of Gonzales and will be missed. My daughter and many other children lovingly referred to her as "Grandma Mayme" as she made frequent visits to Tiny Tots Preschool in Gonzales. Mayme managed our community food pantry while she was in Gonzales and also volunteered at our local library where elementary school children flocked weekly to attend her club. Many thanks to the family for sharing Mayme with us. We were...

Mayme was generous to a fault
-always helping others in so many ways. I met Mayme about the time she met Lou! & tho I've moved away, we stayed in touch. Her work was always fun to her-reading to kids, rodeo parades, helping kids with crafts, cooking - gem of a friend to all! Blessings to all the family! Hang in there together, help each other thru this trying time!

Kathy, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time...Mayme was my friend and I loved all the craft fairs we did together...she was a special lady..she remains forever in my heart...
