TAYLOR, Mayme Marie - Of Linden, age 93, died Wednesday, March 19, 2003 at Argentine Care Center. Funeral service will be held at 12Noon Saturday, March 22, 2003 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Dr. David W. Truran officiating. Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery. Those desiring may make contributions to Community Home Hospice or Argentine Care Center. Visitation 12:30-4:30 and 6- 8PM Friday at the funeral home. Mayme was born in Trout Creek, Michigan on July 9, 1909. She was a resident of Flint since 1968, then moving to Higgins Lake for 22 years and in 1990 moved to Fenton. She was a member of Fenton Methodist Church. She enjoyed bowling, bingo and playing bridge. Surviving are her son, Marvin and wife Janet of Linden; 2 granddaughters, Vicki Taylor and Paul Newton of Rancho Cordova, California, Laura and husband Robert Zimmerman of North Branch; 2 great-grandchildren, Anne and Steven Zimmerman; brother, Bernard and wife Beverly Besonen of Burton; 5 sisters, Bertha and husband Ray Koszarek of Traverse City, Mabel and husband Richard Deane of Grand Blanc, Dorothy and husband Robert Fiegel, Ruth Johnson, both of Madison, Wisconsin and Eleanor Friuk of Bergland; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Ira Taylor, in 1996; son, Douglas, in 1968; several brothers and sisters.
