So very sorry to hear about the passing of Mr. Hess. I was fortunate enough to have a number of good teachers who inspired me when I was growing up. Mr. Hess was one of the great ones.

Mr. Hess was by far my favorite teacher. My dad knew him as they were both educators in the local system. He made history interesting for me. He encouraged students to seek the truths revealed in our history. Kind, involved, benevolent.I pray for his family and hope they are comforted during this time of grief.
