Maynard always had a way to make you smile. He will be deeply missed.
I had the great pleasure of knowing him for over forty years as a softball player and umpire. Deepest condolences to the family and friends.

Maynard officiated so many games for our junior college over in Freeport. (HCC). Will miss seeing him at the ball fields. Hoping hearing about what a great umpire and guy he was is bringing the family some comfort. Prayers to you all in your loss.

He will be missed by the Coon family of Freeport. Steve will miss him as his friend and fellow official on the court and diamond. Peace be...
