I'm not accustomed to seeing "Mert" in a suit, as he was known as a "Workin Man" all his life.
A great friend, and mentor, of the Crescent Street gang....lots of memories of him while growing up with his sons....He loved his deer hunting, and knew where the smart Bucks hung out. Using lots of patience, you could count on him to have a deer on the meat pole by season's end.
Many cold, snowy nights working with him and son Maynard Jr. plowing, and cindering as the Glendon Road Crew....

I may have only known you a short time but the time we shared getting to know each other for the first time was amazing! I will never forget the stories your wife and you told me and how much you made me feel like I was part of the family .. it was truly amazing and I thank you for that!
